TERMS and CONDITIONS
BBVO/ITS Innovative Travel Solutions, Inc. (“Organizer” or "BBVO/ITS") is hosting its 7th Season called BBVO Goes to Bohol in close participation with the Government of Bohol. The beach volleyball tournament will be held in Panglao Island, Bohol on May 15-17, 2020.
TOURNAMENT MODE AND PLAYER RIGHTS & OBLIGATIONS:
- Games will be played according to the tournament plan and rules published on the event's website (www.boracaybeachvolleyball.com). BBVO reserves the right to modify the tournament plan, especially game times, on the game days.
- Players are expected to be on the tournament premises during the game day. Each game will be announced 10 minutes before its start. Teams that do not have all players needed on the field at the start of the game will forfeit the game.
- Only the Organizers will determine the winners and ranks of each Division and set the prizes for the final winners. Players cannot claim the right to any prizes.
WAIVER: All players must follow the rules and regulations set forth by the event organizer. Players prior to the tournament will be asked to sign a waiver wherein they agree to release from responsibility and waive all claims against BBVO/ITS Innovative Travel Solutions, Inc. (“Organizer” or "BBVO/ITS"), corporate sponsors, cooperating organizations, and any other parties connected with BBVO/ITS in any way, or person, singly or collectively, for any blame or liability, demand, injury, harm, loss of property, or damage he/she might sustain as a result of participation in the BBVO/ITS and activities associated therewith. Players fully accept and assume all risks and all responsibility for any injuries, deaths, disability, losses, costs and damages incurred as a result of their participation in this event.
CHANGES AND CANCELLATION OF EVENT: BBBVO/ITS reserves the right to modify or change the tournament rules, game times, tournament venue of the BBVO/ITS at any time. BBVO/ITS reserves the right to cancel the event. In case of cancellation, players will receive a full refund of their registration fee. However, no such compensation shall be allowed if the event does not take place or is delayed due to Force Majeure, for the purpose of this event, Force Majeure shall mean a cause or event that is not reasonably foreseeable or otherwise caused by or under the control of the Party claiming Force Majeure, including acts of God, fires, floods, explosions, riots, wars, hurricane, sabotage terrorism, vandalism, accident, restraint of government, governmental acts, injunctions, labor strikes, other than those of Organizer or its suppliers, that prevent Organizer from furnishing the materials or equipment, and other like events that are beyond the reasonable anticipation and control of the Organizer affected thereby, despite such Organizer’s reasonable efforts to prevent, avoid, delay, or mitigate the effect of such acts, events or occurrences, and which events or the effects thereof are not attributable to the Organizer’s failure to perform its obligations for this event.
