TERMS and CONDITIONS

1. ORGANIZER: PHRS Philippine Hotel Reservations Service, Inc. (PHRS), located at 302/308 Cattleya Bldg., 235 Salcedo St., Legaspi Village, Makati City, is the organizer of the 3rd Season of the PHRS Boracay Beach Volleyball Open (BBVO), a beach volleyball tournament held in Boracay on November 20 - 22, 2016.

2. HOW MUCH IS IT TO JOIN?

Players must book with us an All - In Package with Flight or Land Arrangement to join the event. To check on the rates visit www.boracaybeachvolleyball.com or call us at the phone numbers below for any concerns. Registrations are only final when paid in full. Registration is also possible by sending us your Team Name, list of players and shirt sizes and Division you will be competing in at: marketing@boracaybeachvolleyball.com or 0916 301 3366 or 02 659 3611. Other registration venues will be announced later.

Inclusions: 3 Days of Play, Player's Shirt, Welcome Dinner Buffet and Beach Party, BBVO Baller to get freebies - player's drinks, and goodies plus entry to exclusive parties and events!

3. TOURNAMENT MODE AND PLAYER RIGHTS & OBLIGATIONS:

a) Games will be played according to the tournament plan and rules published on the event's website (www.boracaybeachvolleyball.com). PHRS reserves the right to modify the tournament plan, especially game times, on the game days.

b) Players are expected to be on the tournament premises during the game day. Each game will be announced 10 minutes before its start. Teams that do not have all players needed on the field at the start of the game will forfeit the game.

c) Only PHRS, as the event organizer, will determine the winners and ranks of each Division and set the prizes for the final winners. Players cannot claim the right to any prizes.

d) There will be no official full-time referees for the tournament. Teams will take turns as Referees when they are not playing their designated matches.

e) PHRS reserves the right to refuse participation of players or teams, if the player or teams exhibit unfair sportsmanship, violent or abusive behavior, signs of intoxication or drug abuse, or are otherwise deemed unfit to participate in the games.

4. CHANGES AND CANCELLATION OF EVENT: PHRS reserves the right to modify or change the tournament rules, game times, tournament venue of the BBVO at any time. PHRS reserves the right to cancel the event. In case of cancellation, players will receive a full refund of their registration fee. However, no such compensation shall be allowed if the event does not take place or is delayed due to Force Majeur, for the purpose of this event, Force Majeure shall mean a cause or event that is not reasonably foreseeable or otherwise caused by or under the control of the Party claiming Force Majeure, including acts of God, fires, floods, explosions, riots, wars, hurricane, sabotage terrorism, vandalism. accident, restraint of government, governmental acts, injunctions, labor strikes, other than those of Organizer or its suppliers, that prevent Organizer from furnishing the materials or equipment, and other like events that are beyond the reasonable anticipation and control of the Organizer affected thereby, despite such Organizer’s reasonable efforts to prevent, avoid, delay, or mitigate the effect of such acts, events or occurrences, and which events or the effects thereof are not attributable to the Organizer’s failure to perform its obligations for this event.

5. WAIVER: All players must follow the rules and regulations set forth by the event organizer. Players prior to the tournament will be asked to sign a waiver wherein they agree to release from responsibility and waive all claims against PHRS (“Organizer”), corporate sponsors, cooperating organizations, and any other parties connected with BBVO in any way, or person, singly or collectively, for any blame or liability, demand, injury, harm, loss of property, or damage he/she might sustain as a result of participation in the BBVO and activities associated therewith. Players fully accept and assume all risks and all responsibility for losses, costs and damages incurred as a result of their participation in this event.
